Slip Jigs vs. Hop Jigs... 

In this workshop we’ll take a deeper look at two tune forms that often get conflated, but have a different feel altogether when their essence is embraced — Hop Jigs and Slip jigs. We’ll do some listening. We’ll seek to understand and be able to replicate the distinct pulse of these forms in our own playing. And we’ll look at a few tunes that occur in both forms, and learn one of these pairs — Cucanandy (hop jig) and My Mind Will Never Be Easy (Slip Jig).  

All the Tune Supply workshops are recorded, so you can enroll in the class even if the time doesn't work for you.  They are also 'pay what you like / can' so anyone can attend regardless of means.
