Teaching I'll be teaching at six music camps in 2013 - two more to go in October! Each is a completely different musical experience - each wonderful in a different way. There is nothing like immersion in a music camp environment to really get you fired up about your music! Please check out my events page for more info about each music camp...and sign up!

Additionally, I teach mandolin and mandola privately out of my home in Larkspur, CA and over Skype.

Starting in October 2013, I will resume teaching group classes. Classes will be held every other Tuesday evening 7:30 - 9:00PM, starting October 8, and running for 6 sessions. Class dates: 10/8, 10/22, 11/5, 11/19, 12/3, 12/17

Classes will be held in a fantastic photography studio in SF's Dogpatch area. I'll provide the address to confirmed participants.

Cost will be $30/class or $150 for the six class series.

Class level will encompass advanced beginner through intermediate.

Goals of the class will be:
Learn 3 sets (medleys) of Irish tunes.
Grow a group of compatriots who know the same tunes you do
Develop your right hand 'engine' -- I have been getting great results with exercises and drills that develop the right hand 'engine.' We'll do drills to warm up and solidify the engine at each class session, then move to our tunes.
Grow confidence and the ability to play with others
I will publish our intended tunes before the class starts so you can warm up to them -- I'm taking requests for tunes to be included - fire away!

Shoot me an email (mfibish@gmail.com) with any questions, or to sign up.
